Let me see... I think they've just ruled out all forms of Unix, Windows
NT, OS/2, VMS... leaving MS-DOS, Mac-OS (unless you put a webserver up
under it and run a chat site) and Windows 9[58] because they don't
timeshare, or at least not very well. Their obvious ommision is services
like FreeNet, which can be considered non-interactive.

So far, scp is still a safe bet. I seem to remember DB firewalling out
Telnet (many ISPs do) and a few other things, but I'm ssh'ed into a DB
ssh server as I type. Oh - and web, ftp and email...
