The set up is that I have one account on a local isp that all the email
for my domain embedit.com.au is received. This account is
embedit at iinet.net.au. So any mail to anyuser at embedit.com.au domain ends
up in the embedit at iinet.net.au mailbox. I then collect it here using
fetchmail and postfix to sort out who gets which piece of mail. So there
are two "Delivered-To" headers. One with embedit at iinet.net.au in it and
the second with the user, for example: russ at embedit.com.au. On top of
this, qmail adds a prefix to this second Delivered-To to prevent mail
loops. So the only reference to the end recipient, if X-Envelope-To isn't
there, is this second Deliverd-To with the added prefix.

I think I need to find a way to get fetchmail to use the second
Delivered-To and the qvirtual switch to remove the prefix.

Qmail adds this in. It's quite well described in the fetchmail docs. I
suppose qmail adds this in to easily identify the final destination. But
you're probably right since it's not getting put in all the time. As
mentioned earlier it's probably due to different mail servers.

I don't recall. You may have. Sorry. :)
