[plug] distros (again)!

Hi Wayne,

I'm still new to the world of Linux having only installed SuSE 7.0 less
than two months ago (I've also had brief bashes at Ret Hat 6.2 and
Caldera 2.2). For what my opinion is worth, I can tell you that I have
total satisfaction with SuSE. I purchased a commercial distribution from
EverythingLinux because I was new. I found that the online support, the
manuals and the documentation to be excellent and I would recommend it
to anyone green to Linux. The distro I bought came with heaps of
applications (700 to be precise) - so many that I haven't even
discovered half of them yet.
If I have a complaint it is that many of the programs (Star Office 5.2
and Netscape especially) seem to boot and sometimes run slower than I
expected on my AMD Athlon 800. But I suspect that this is related to a
configuration matter which could be easily fixed by someone with more
knowledge than myself.
How it stacks up against Debian 2.2 I just don't know. Having read a
bit about the various distributions I think it may all boil down to what
it is that you want to do. But that's just my poorly informed opinion.
