Hi,

Try:

man chown
man chgrp
man chmod

These will give you answers to all related questions.

Subject: [plug] question re group permissions

I would like to have the permission on a group changed to 774 do I use the
command chown 774 /workgroup or do I have to change this some other way.
The /workgroup is a symbolic link to /usr/workgroup.
