Ah... that makes sense.  Why bother using a well-supported, (semi)
meaningful, not to mention, standard means of obtaining information when
you can invent your own!  So what sort of information could this glean
from Windows clients?  I would imagine the netbios name would be the
same as the DNS name so I assume it would be able to pull some
additional information like a username?  Anyone know the details?
