[plug]Linux and onboard aic7xxx chipset

I'm running an HP LC here with 2xSeagate SCSI drives under Red Hat 6.1
The Adaptec AIC-7770 is functionally equivalent to AHA-274x and in that 
capacity Red Hat found the controller and drives immediately. Presumable 
Mandrake should too.

(BTW, as an experiment, I found that Debian needed the Adaptec card to be 
disabled in BIOS before it would fire it up, SuSE found the card and disks 
OK then cocked-up during install, Red Hat installed and is performing 
flawlessly)
