Hi Len,
Yeah, I got 6 to work on Linux.
You just gotta run the execuatble from within the 'package' directory that
is made when you untar the file
Like this:
cd /home/youruserdirectory/package/
./netscape &
I actually renamed the 'package' directory and called it 'ns60' so it's
easier to remember.
If you wanna see Netscape as it will be when it's finished, go the Mozilla
website at www.mozilla.org and download version 16. Netscape 6.0 is
basically a Netscape shell for Mozilla anyway and 16 is the latest stable
release - looks just like NS 6.0 exept it's got the Mozilla logo in stead of
NS.
About 8 megs for both Wincrap and Linux versions.
Have fun !!
Kai
