Also interesting the in linux at work pages was the linux useage
proportions. If the pie-chart even slightly resembles real-world
proportions, 25% of attendees use Linux for Web servers, and 19% for
desktop. Given the existing stats for web-servers, plus a from-the-air
ratio of desktops to servers, this makes for a staggering number of
Linux desktops out there, waaaaay in excess of the "official" figure of
a few percent.
