Yes, you shouldn't need the MASQUERADE_AS line at all. Let the users'
mail programs set the "From: " lines. Sendmail will probably set a
"Sender:' line using its canonical hostname and the username, but that
shouldn't cause problems.

Good advice. The relevant document there is a bit dense to work through
the first time you do it, but it does actually spell everything out in
