Hi,
There is actually very little in terms of required services. In fact, disable
anything you don't know about, or have ANY doubt about for. The only things you
really need are:
klogd -\
syslogd ----------Logging daemons
crond ----------Cron (time based) services
sshd ----------for connecting to you box with
Then you can use tera-term and ttssh to access your box from windows :-)
