I know it isn't exactly what you were asking Christian, but I use MRTG to query my router and graph the results as a web page. Since installing it in July, I haven't touched it, but it keeps the web page nicely up to date. They have configuration settings for many different types of routers and other transient data (eg. average ping times). Colin Rothnie
