[plug] Multiple Xservers

I must admit - I am quite surprised that this wasnt well known.
as a relative newcomer to Linux ( about 16 months)
I had read about multiple XServers  in one my early forays of desperation to
right a subsided Xserver ( due to the fiddle factor I must confess )...
but when all had righted again and I decided to test out the multiple X
server
I couldnt find what I 'd seen.
This seems to happen with just a litttle bit of regularity.. *grin*
perhaps

has a mission all of its own ( in what info it releases to you at any given
time )

it took a longer foray into the manpages of
startx, xinit, Xserver, and X
to reveal what I 'd seen in a flash nearly a year ago     !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
