If you:
start:run:telnet some.host
You get a "bung" terminal

If you OTOH start:run:telnet
file:remote system:
	some.host

You should (tm) get a working vt100 terminal :)

Having said that I use Secure CRT and ssh for windows access to my linux boxes
when I have to.
