[plug] linux dialin and nt domains

is it possible using w2k to dial into a linux RH server using mgetty and
a stallion eio 8port card to
be able to log onto a nt domain.

i have setup the dialin server primarily for my own linux use but the
powers that be at work now want the management to be able to work from
home and have full access including file shareing etc.

under w95/98 one can do this you logon to the ppp server then logon to
the nt domain but under w2k it appears that you can either connect to a
pap server or to a ras server but once you connect to the pap server you
cannot then logonto the nt domain.
looking at the logs it appears that w2k sends the domainname and the uid
as the login/passwd when you try and login to the domain

i have been given till next week to make this so under linux or i have
to use an nt solution
