Hi again Beau,

Yeah, I might go down the street on Monday and buy a Live for $100.
I've got a PCI Vibra here, might give that a go - can't get any worse
than having this appear in my logs, even after changing the soundcard
from ESS ISA -> Sound Blaster ISA:

Nov 18 18:49:03 linux kernel: Sound: DMA (input) timed out - IRQ/DRQ
config error?
Nov 18 18:50:19 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 18:51:45 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 18:55:40 linux last message repeated 20 times
Nov 18 18:58:01 linux last message repeated 20 times
Nov 18 18:59:06 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:02:42 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:04:11 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:06:12 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:07:21 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:09:29 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:11:10 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:13:46 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:15:32 linux last message repeated 10 times
Nov 18 19:15:36 linux last message repeated 9 times

If that fails, well, I might give a lead tablet.... :-)

Like clean air, water and food, earth is a comodity:
Take good care of what little there is left.
