I use C++ by choice, because I know it better than anything else. I haven't
done any Linux programming yet, but will get to it shortly.
Finished a little program this morning for some friends which does a search of
a comma deliminted text file of ~9000 records.
This is easy stuff, so I therefore didn't use OOP, just a few functions.
I like the syntax of C++, but may be swayed by Python or PHP or ... in the
future.
By the way, I think there is IDEs for Linux.... Try looking for kdevelop, which
is for C++ I think.
