Yep, I could quite possibly do that and may switch to that sort of
setup in the future... I would still be paying for the static IP
address though so the $55 isn't really that bad... and at the time I
wasn't quite ready to do that side of things myself... I was looking
for an ISP in a bit of a hurry as Informed Technology, who I had been
with previously, had completely changed their dialup policies on me 3
months after I paid up-front for a years service and it was no longer
feasible for me to stay with them... (I was NOT happy)
Anyway, yes I will probably change the DNS setup... but I will still
stay with Westnet for the foreseeable future as I am happy with their
service and account structure... Possible things that might change this
are the introduction of affordable unlimited download ADSL (without
stupid restrictions on running home networks and servers) or Westnet
doing something stupid...
