If it's an SMC Ultra, it'll usually say so on the board. SMC Ultras are very
nice as far as ISA cards go (high efficiency and reliability, plus you can set
jumpers - ISA PNP sucks on all operating systems). You will probably need to
specify an IO address (if it's really an Ultra, the jumpers are labelled).

Try plugging it in and doing a pnpdump command if you're unsure.
