Yes and I believe its under the umbrella of the Australian COmmunications
Authority (ACA) - which has powers under the National Securities Act - or
some such equivalent federal statute.
This (in theory) means the ACA can enter your home at any time without
notice and pwoer to detain, seize goods etc. They have rather more power
then the State Police and the Australian Protective Service - formerly
the Federal Police...
