Well, it seems I was wrong :-) I have always believed that there were 52
states, but a check on http://www.123world.com/usstates/ (after running it
through wc to check my counting) shows 51 states.  Of course, the site
could be wrong, but the names look familiar.

As to which is the 51st state, take your pick.
