I have checked the PalTalk site on firewalls and it says i must make
available the following ports I have not done this (nor do I know how to)
but as I said before my only problem it talking to clients that are on the
same network (i.e local)
Ports used for PalTalk:

TCP 2091
TCP 2095
TCP 5001-5005
TCP 5200-5203
TCP 8080 (user configurable)
UDP 2090
UDP 2091
UDP 8090-8290
