[plug] Dialup Access

I am currently setting up a linux machine at home to dialup to the
internet. I have looked at several linux resources such as
www.linux.org.au/LDP, for howtos's on this subject but the ones that i
found and tried have not worked. also if do i have to setup my modem etc
if i do how do i go about doing this.
