[plug] X11, DPMS, how stop wake-up on mouse?

In X11, the DPMS allows the monitor to power down when not in use.
Any keyboard or mouse activity turns it on again.
Is there any way to stop mouse events from waking it? I cant find any
mention in the X man pages.
