shaper - Traffic Shaper for Linux
shaperd - A user-mode traffic shaper for tcp-ip networks.
Thanks James, however I don't get the second option - is that for woody/sid?
As for shaper, it installs one binary (shapecfg) and some doco. from
everything I can tell about it it merely limits the bandwidth available on a
connection. ie. it doesn't differentiate for protocol or class (as CBQ is
supposed to do).
I'll be doing more research today, but any more pointers would be
appreciated.
