On this note:

I still love the way M$ regards non-m$ partitions as unformatted on
installs, not really a problem of course, unless you accidentally forget
which partition has your err... non existent os's on.

I dare say they havn't reversed this standing with XP (not that I've had any
experience using XP yet)
