The other Michael (O'Rourke? O'Rielly?) added a great deal of technical depth 
to their decisions. It will be interesting to see how Michael Malone ends up 
faring with the learning curve he will no doubt have slammed into. Some of 
the rumours have been... eyebrow-raising... and provided interesting 
responses when bounced off some of their more learned tech support people.

There are others on this list who have experienced assimilation by them in 
various ways, also with interesting comments.

Still, compared to rolling disasters like Chariot, iiNet seem sometimes quite 
benign and well-focussed. (-:
