Just follow the instructions. When it gets to this point type in your root
password and then at the prompt type in:
fsck /dev/<whatever drive is giving you trouble>
fsck will fix the disk (unless you've managed to screw things majorly -
happened to me once...once =)
Then, once fsck is finished reboot.
BTW, just as a matter of interest, how are you shutting off your computer?
Are you shutting it down first or are you just switching it off?
