Hi All, hope someone can help with a problem I have.

Having finally gotten a machine to play with, I am trying to install RedHat
7.1 as a dual boot with windows. I have a partition for Linux etc, which is
after the 3Gb windows partition. The hard drive is 17Gb, and Ia am going to
have about 8.5Gb devoted to Linux. The problem I have is that during the
install it is telling me that because the partition crosses the 1024
cylinder mark, the partition may not be bootable.

The plan is to have lilo intalled to the MBR and handle the OS boot options,
so is this going to be a problem? I have done a dual boot system a few years
ago, but the harddrive for that machine was only 2Gb, so I did not encounter
this problem then. Any help appreciated.

Just because this is never going to work is no reason to be negative!
