They fixed the driver, from (hazy) memory.

I think I was doing something noone else had at the time - Netjet->Netjet
using ipppd
 
I also had a problem with a Netjet dialing into a Tigris access server -
the first byte of incoming traffic would provoke a kernel panic.
Disabling compression fixed that one.

Either way, I suggest you speak to Traverse about your problem, I'm sure
they can help
