Dennis, I have a Duron 600 [overclocked to 800Mhz], 128Megs
RAM, AsusA7pro mainboard that was running ME [sorry, didn't
play around with linux until recently] and a Celeron 566A
[overclocked to 850Mhz], 160Megs RAM, Abit BH6 mainboard
running 2k[same as before]. I don't really play games that much
but I do quite a bit of encoding [divX, mpeg1/2 etc] and have
noticed that my duron at 800 is around 20% faster than my
Celeron at 850. If i didn't overclock the duron, it would be about the
same speed as the overclocked celeron.
