You don't need VNC for that.
VNC is useful if you wish to view the entire X desktop from a non-X
machine.
Also, the VNC server on Linux works differently to the one on Win32 - it
will not export your current X session, you need to create a whole new one
with Xvnc as the X server.
But, if you only wish to view one application on another X server, you can
use the $DISPLAY variable and the appropriate shuffling of magic cookies
with xauth to achieve this.
