Hi all well it seems that init is trying to respawn this application when it
dies I think I now know what the problem is .
But blow me down I found it by causing onother fault which forced me to put
a monitor on my linux box.
It was then that I could see all the error messages sent by init.
So my next question is why are these messages not sent to my terminal logged
on as root.
Are there some messages that are not sent to terminals or is there a way to
have all these messages sent to a terminal.
I understand that is not possable to send boot messages as the system is not
initilized.
I have knowdoubt that there is a log file I could probably tail for init
"some where" but what about in future i.e things I dont know about.
I would have been in a much better position had I seen these errors
displayed on my terminal.
Regards Bob Andrews.
