[plug] 2.4.0 wont boot on a toshiba laptop

Another possibility, is it stuck or simply paused? How
long have you been waiting?

I have an oldish IBM laptop which occasionally (about
1 in 4 boots) stops at "OK, booting the kernel" for up
to 20 seconds or so, then boots as normal. Admittedly
this is 2.2.18, not 2.4.

I don't have any fixes, so this is probably a "me too"
post :(
