[plug] Samba 2.2.0a PDC troubles

I am having trouble getting a Win2k to log on to the Samba domain.
The how-to doc seems a bit short on information.
I have added the machine's name to samba with the "$"  as well as to Linux.
I am sure that the smb.conf is fine (i already had the win98 domain logons
working fine).
I am thinking that one of the troubles might be when the W2k asks for
somebody authorised to log in who should i put?
Does anyone know of a step by step for this or can't you do it at all?

My clients are using share level at the moment until i can get their new 2k
machines to log in.
