Because sending faxes as you described is not only unsolicited, it is
designed to be malicious and cause direct damage. You CANNOT beat door
to door salespeople up, or destroy their property when they try to sell
you goods, even if they are crappy goods.

And what precedent would that be? That destroying other peoples property
is right (if you win), or that sending spam is OK (if you don't win)

I agree about offensive SPAM. If they are in australia (most likely not),
you could possibly take them to court for indecent advertising.

So, ignore it. Delete it, and get on with life, or follow it through the
proper channels. There is no excuse for doing damage to other peoples
property, even if they do it to you first. Revenge can get very ugly.

Oh please. I doubt you will need to protect your mother. She has rasied
kids so I have no doubt that she can handle this stuff. But anyway, you
will not stop SPAM by taking out revenge on spamming companys (they will
likely think you are a loony and not even consider changing their
position)
