1.  Type in the root password.
2.  Enter fsck /dev/xx (where the xx is your disk drive partition - such as 
/dev/hda1 , /dev/hda5, /dev/hdb1...etc..or /dev/sda1 (scsi)
3.  When you have done all your partitions, then type sync and reboot.
