I started using it from when it first made it into RedHat's kernels...
But although I was happy with it for non-exported filesystems... I had
all sorts of problems with it combined with NFS...
I seem to recall reading something in recent linux-kernel messages that
one of the 2.4.6pre kernels had fixed something with reiserfs + NFS...
but that shows how recent an issue it is... I can take a look for the
reference if you like... or you could search the archives yourself or
look at kerneltraffic (http://kt.zork.net/kernel-traffic/latest.html) I
think it is in the last issue...
I have been pretty happy with XFS so far... the only downside being it
isn't in the standard kernel tree and so must be applied by a patch...
But I was doing that with reiserfs before it made it into the kernel too
so I am not too upset about it...
