Its success all boils down to if they offer free or cheap versions to
students/hobbyists.
Companies still often overlook the benefit of giving grass-roots people free
stuff. Thats how stuff gets used in business.

Not at all pricy for commercial use. $2k with no run-time royalties, I
think.
