Well Beau your slackware line explains it all !!!! Why not run a true BSD
system instead of going half way *grin* :-).

By the way what is the intended start-up script format for the Linux
Standard Base ??? If it is SysV then you could find yourself being even more
out in the cold (or finding slackware changes its start-up script format to
comply) !!!
