[plug] SCSI tape problem

Hi Pluggers

We have a problem with tape backups. it seems to work fine for a while then
the light on the HDD controller stays on. we also get constant errors on the
console, I can't say which ones because I can't see the console. After a
while it stops and everything is fine except for the error message at the
end of the log.
The controller is aic 7890.
Seagate ultra wide not sure what brand
DAT is a Seagate 12/24
Red Hat 6.2
We believe that if we put in another controller and run them separately this
might fix the problem.

Anyone have some experience with this?
