Subject: SAGE-AU Conference
Hi Matt,
I found your information as a contact for PLUG, and as such
sending you this email.
This year SAGE-AU is holding its annual conference in
Adelaide, and the final program is available online at
http://www.sage-au.org.au/conf/.
As per usual, we have a great range of speakers giving talks -
some of which may be of special interest to your group. such
Our invited guests are Randal L. Schwartz, one of the more
well known Perl hackers, and Michael "Monty" Widenius, the
primary author of the popular MySQL database, both of who are
giving full day tutorials and talks at the conference.
We also have a excellent selection of local speakers giving
tutorials and papers on topics such as firewalls, Samba, Bind
and more. This will be an superb chance for your members to
attended tutorials and papers given by people who are ``in
the field'', and to have a chance to chat with other people
and build contacts with experts in a wide variety of fields.
The registration forms are available on the above URL, and
we would urge you to distribute the brochures to your members
as soon as possible to give them the best chance to register
in time for the early bird registration discount, which will
make the already well priced conference all the more affordable.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Brad
