You ain't just whistling dixie. Ive seen the effects of this, where
grads want to do *everything* in java. Had a discussion with a friend of a
friend about PHP/XML, and continually the conversation went back to java.
Java everything. You can do anything in java, and according to these people
you should.

	JAVA JAVA JAVA JAVA JAVA

ADA is a nice teaching language, thats why they use it. Very few
languages are so strongly object oriented. You'll never work with it, but
the concepts will stick with you forever.

Unless you have Tom O'Neil, and then youre screwed anyway. :)

At least ECU didn't adopt the java everywhere thing, like curtin has
(yuck, i
can't imagine a worse language to teach people on). They used to do
pascal,
but oviously, it wasn't cool enogth for them :-(
