Hello, Fabricio!

Curtin has always had a reputation for the "nerdy" smart types in
technology. UWA seems to have a high-level focus as well. The rest of us
went to ECU.

However I found problems at every level of contact with the organization.
No matter how simple the task, it ended ALWAYS up very difficult. This
extended from classroom to administration.

Although I have never been to Curtin or UWA it does seem that ECU has a well
balanced approach to Computer Science.

I will add that Darrell Horrocks is spot-on with the comment about Ada.
When I challenged the Ada lecturer (Australian Ada supremo)about the
relevance of presenting Ada as a formal qualification to employment, his
comment was "There are plenty of jobs overseas for Ada graduates." [ I note
here that it was acknowledged that the Arian-5 (?) rocket blew up on launch
because of an Ada programming error.] Nice language though; but it is just
like Latin: not much good for anything else except speaking Latin.
