G'day Gavin,

I had the same problem trying to stream with my Real Audio server here...
kernel: Sound: DMA (input) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?

I used to hate seeing that in /var/log/messages
Trying to stream in Real Audio, swapped to IceCast and it works perfectly
!!!
If I remember rightly there is a problem with the sound driver written Hannu
Solavainen and if you install the ALSA drivers...no worries !!

I was using an Eagles ESS 16 Audio Drive, that didn't work so I tried Sound
Blaster Vibra, that didn't work..installed ALSA - bingo !

Regards

Kai - VK6KSJ
(Listen to my stream from a PCR-1000 @ http://vk6ksj.javaradio.com if you
