[plug] ia64 linux = P4? & general Q re speed and if anyone has tried it

I'm not 100% sure but I'm under the impression ia64 is for intel's 
64bit processors called iatanium or something. It's definately 
something to make sure of. I'm pretty sure that P4 are still x86 
architechure.
