How can you release a closed source decryption programme is you want the
decryption process to be kept secret?

and if they do release a closed-source Linux player then we are still
stuffed, and even worse, some of us might not notice it anymore.

and reward those in the wrong with DVD sales? I'd rather not, and I'd
rather noone else with a Linux kernel or a conscience did, either.
