[plug] Hardware: RAM questions

It has twin 18Gb SCSI's on a hardware RAID 1 configuration... So the
hardware probably won't be a problem - it is more likely that our
partitioning of it will be defective!

BTW, does the cache on a SCSI controller card make very much difference? It
currently has 32Mb but is upgradable to 128Mb for less than AU$60... is it
worth upgrading? (I would just include it with the system RAM order so
postage costs won't be a prob.)

This is one area I will need to read up on heavily.

Guv.
