[plug] Mandrake 8.1

	Thanks to everyone who rang me about this on the weekend,  I ended
up grabbing it off Craig on Friday night...... BTW, its great

	Sorry to Leon, when he rang I had a house full of people including a
screaming baby, and I was on a dodgy portable phone, so I couldnt really
hear him. Although I did like the 'Gates Law: every 18 months the speed of
software halves', but I didnt really understand what it was in reference to
:) 

	Anyhoo, tah to all, I installed on Friday night (including using
Reiserfs for /home and /var) and it rocks. 

	I might install the kernel source soon and apply those kernel
pre-emption patches and see how it performs. But it hasnt skipped a beat so
far.

	BTW, while chatting with Craig on Friday night, he mentioned that
one or more of you might no something about DAC960 PCI RAID Controllers? I
have one in an Alphaserver 1000 Im having problems with.
