[plug] hard drive tribbles and tribulations

ive messed up my box real bad... i might go as far as reinstalling cus i 
couldnt even login before now i cant even ps ux and since theres nothing 
important on there
except for the downloading from the uwa mirror at 600kb/s at the 
installgest, oh well ill just run potato i guess and ill keep the 
downloaded packages or something
