modprobe natsemi

Hmm. The natsemi driver may not be in 2.2.
"apt-cache search kernel-image-2.4" and install a newer kernel. Dnot
forget to edit /etc/lilo.conf and add "initrd=/boot/initrd" against
your "Linux" kernel image. And when you have done this, edit
/etc/kpackage.cfg or whatever and set "Do_initrd = Yes".
For niceness, then do "apt-get install devfsd", and add "append="devfs=mount""
to your kernel miage in /etc/lilo.conf.
HTH.
